Not every observation is ready to become an essay. Perspectives is where shorter pieces, field notes, and interview fragments live — distinct from the long-form library, held to a different standard of finish.
The first Perspectives entries are being written. They will appear here as they are completed, without ceremony, on no particular schedule.
The intention is not to publish more frequently. It is to publish at the right register. Some observations want eight hundred words and a clean stop. Others want eight thousand and a full argument. The two should not be forced into the same container.
